Western Digital offers portable drives for Mac users
Western Digital Corp. (WD), Lake Forest, Calif., introduced its new Mac-formatted My Passport Studio Portable Drives. The new My Passport drives are designed for Mac users and are equipped with both FireWire 400 and USB 2.0 interfaces, a capacity gauge, and include a soft drawstring carrying bag for protection from scratches and dirt. Available now at select retailers and at WD’s online store, the My Passport Studio portable drives are offered in capacities of 320GB and 250GB. The My Passport Studio portable drive with 250GB capacity is $159.99 and 320GB is $219.99.
